The Life and Work of CJ Dennis

In the 140th year of the birth of CJ Dennis, Dr Philip Butterss (Senior Lecturer, University of Adelaide) and author of An Unsentimental Bloke, the Life and Work of CJ Dennis, will present a refreshing and honest look at the life of CJ Dennis, and the influences which his writings have had on several generations of Australians, through times of both war and peace.

Venue:  Yanga Room, Gladstone Town Hall

This lecture is presented in partnership with the History Council of South Australia, the Gladstone History Group, Rocky River Historic & Art Society and the Copyright Agency Limited (cultural  fund)
