Join us for a talk by Dr Jula Szuster about the fate of German émigré Carl Linger’s missing works and a performance of some of his works by Tessa Miller (soprano) and Glenys March (piano). Linger was South Australia’s foremost musician in the 1850s and early 1860s and is best known as the composer of the Song of Australia. Yet he also wrote a considerable amount of instrumental and vocal music
